Yea, and the Pats have done nothing to stop McGahee (sp?). Could be one for the ages.

Steelers are as good or better than the Ravens, so the next Pats game should be fun to watch too.

So true. But I guess that if they don't stop them, we will not really be looking to 0-12 Miami for the job...or the Giants?

I bet that the Cowboys will be reviewing some game film on how to put pressure on their quarterback, though.

If the Cowboys are already looking ahead to the Super Bowl they are dead...teams get surprised looking ahead one week, if they take the playoffs for granted they don't stand a chance.

True! That was the best NFL game I ahve seen in years. I kind of felt it was going to end 27-24 at the middle of the fourth quarter. That final minute took about 15 actual minutes to go through. Willis and the rest of the Ravens gave it all tonight, it just was a little short. Reminded me of my good old Canes loss in '02 to tOSU. 4th and 1 stopped, ravens are gonna win it.... Wait, someone called a time out!!!!
    Still very entertaining.

Agreed. I really liked the emotion & passion that the Ravens defense played with. From the opening image of Lewis gettng emotional during the moment of silence for Sean Taylor - you knew the Ravens were going to leave it all out on the field...Great stuff..

Just too bad the Ravens had so many penalties...some were unnecessary. Had they kept their cool a little bit better they could have won the game. ;)

Billick doesn't seem to have any control over that team at all, his team was flipping out and going crazy on the field and Billick didn't react at all. If they stay under control, they win that game.

Man, I'm just waiting to see Ray Lewis kill someone (again :D)... he's just so amp'd up and freaky-psychotic'like whenever he tries to get pumped up!

Sad but true. He's certainly passed his prime it appears. Time for a new coach in Baltimore?

Well, we all know that whether we liked all the referee calls or not, the Ravens actually cost themselves the game by calling that time-out (when they actually had stopped the Patriots on 4th and 1).

I am kind of comparing that situation to the one where Dallas had to re-kick a difficult field goal for a defensive time-out that did not get put into effect until long after the ball was snapped and the first (good) kick was in the air. Luckily, or skillfully, if you will - he made the retry and won the game.

I am not ready to offer a solution, but I think that these deliberate last-second timeouts are BS, and not in keeping with good sportsmanship. Timeouts should be called clearly before the snap, or else just play the game as it happens.

Disclaimer - my stepson, who works for the Dallas Cowboys in new stadium box & suite sales, completely disagrees with me and says this is just part of modern football.

From a fan's perspective I would like to see as few stopages as possible. so these last second TO's are just BS.

However, everything is fair in love and war and sports, especially football. So the attitude is anything that may help us win we'll do.

If the ball is snapped before the whistle blows it should be a play. The problem is that once the whistle blows players are trained to stop. It's not going to change IMVHO. ;)

Thursday again so time for another rant about how rediculous the NFL network is. I can't even watch the game in Harrsonburg, less than two hours from DC, the local network is UPN20 which probably gets braodcast into a total of like 5000 homes. Completely rediculous, the NFL needs to wake up and realize fans are mad at them and not the Cable Companies...

I'm having to listen to the Redskins radio broadcast on my computer....at least they are willing to allow fans to listen to the game.

Yea, unfortunately its out of sync with the radio, and collegiate internet isn't the greatest for live video.

Interesting that the NFL.com is ahead of the Tv broadcast by a few seconds. Both are on Comcast. Digital cable and high speed internet.

Digital cable is slow, I have 2 TVs with Digital and one with regular cable and the regular cable is a good 5-10 seconds ahead of the digital.

STOP COMPLAINING AND BUY NFL NETWORK. It cost me under $2 a month for NFL Network and 10 other sports channels on Comcast Digital Cable.

My digital cable is about 5 seconds faster than my friends DirecTV. Funny.
