Just started on my winter project: 1/12 Ferrari 641. Will post some pics once I have something to show for. Progress is painstakingly slow.

Does anybody have a good source for a display case for just one car?

Over in Cyprus at the moment and found an absolutely amazing model shop called the model base which is in limassol. Best 1/18 collection i have ever seen in my life. I bought the Saleen S7 in 1/12 since it seems difficult to find in the UK

I've got a business card but its in my luggage somewhere, will dig it out at some point.

As for the Cobra, think I'm going to wait for the new Kyosho 427 when they release that.

The Saleen I have only seen from US suppliers distributing to the UK unfortunately so i thought i would buy here and carry back.

the cobra by GMP is ultra detailed car i saw an aluminium body, just beautifull.

so i m trying to have something for Christmas but budget and models are difficult to join together, so i m waiting for 2008 the Veyron
i know that Kyosho are going to make F40 in black version, also.

what about the Viper VR10, looks big toy than diecast, no?

Thanks. Never thought of it as being vintage, but I guess we get older. Vintage to me is like the seventies and before that. :)

Here a couple of pics after two weeks of working on it. As I said, progress is slow.

Yes the Cobra is nice but i need to wait for the similar looking Cobra to my own to come out, cant wait.

The RT/10 Viper is ok, i would say its a better lookin model than the SLR as both the Ford GT and SLR have really big tyres unfortunately and that annoys me. The Viper is cheap and I do not really like the blue/white version that i have. I would rather have a different colour to be honest but no point in changing now.

The Saleen S7 is cheap too but the tyres look good and are low profile.

Going to get the Gallardo in a month so need to get more glass shelves!!!!

i m desgusted, check and rechecked again and again the models i want, but too much expensive for me...i think i m going to wait again
and probably next year buy one but only one! and it will be not a Ferrari...waiting the new release of AA Bugatti Veyron.

Really the things changed, how can be possible to see models near 300/450 Euros 1/12, the same for 1/18 scale the price grew up near to 80/200 for some series???
incredible theres 4 years it was possible to buy something in corect price, now i must to check before to buy something and have a good idea of what i want.

also where is the compretion on ebay?????
they make all the same price or if they are different they put shipment over normal prices...:(

stop to buy and the price goes down... :(

can anyone tell me what a good rate for a black bbr enzo would be? in usd's
i wrote earlier about a 40th anniversary murcielago and the day i went to pick it up the seller jacked the price over 400 usd, far fetch from 240...some people just can't honor their words, regardless, i'm interested in a few enzo models, i only want one, but i have my eye on 3 seperate ones...just wondering how much a black bbr enzo would be!

    Thanks
