Saturday Morning (8th)...Who is gonna be there? First true "Winter Edition"

I got thems winter wheelz on my car and Saturday shouldnt actually be that bad...I know I am going to be out in the new whip seeing if I can find some trouble...Anyone else in for the first REAL winter ed. C&C?

ya...its kinda a mini...like a fiat is kind of a ferrari...

 

I think we are getting snow in Montgomery County on Friday night. If so, I plan to use Saturday to sulk since I won't be able to drive the new car! PLEASE RAIN!! (Never thought I would pray for rain, but that is a sign of desparation I guess....)

 

Pietro Castiglione, from FCA PENN-Jersey has extended an invitation to us for Cappuccino at Kutztown on the 8th. Jane Jandle will be there to share Ferrari stories. It's at 9:00 in Kutztown. I think we could make it from the Starbucks if we left by maybe 8:15.

Anyone interested in crashing a stuffy old bunch of Ferrari guys talkin' cars? Hey, wait a minute, I'm one of those stuffy old guys.

Ahh.... upon further review, looks to be about 60 miles, sooo.....

...provided snow/salt isn't an issue. Sixty miles isn't really that far, especially since it's mostly highway driving. We'd probably have to leave Starbucks at 7:30 a.m. (which means I'd have to leave home at 6:30...yikes!). I have a feeling that the regulars are shuddering at the thought of such an early Saturday start but hey, we're running out of good weather! And it's a chance to mingle with the Penn/Jersey Region.

I hear there's an M5 drifting contest where all regular C&C members get to take one M5 and see who can drift the best.

 

Isn't Noah gona come by and show us how to drift an AWD car? I thought that was his specialty.

But really, it's gonna be lousy tomorrow, but who cares? I'll take the E500 AWD, drift on over, and see you guys at 8:00

ill be there...and I never heard about that test...unless the prize is whoever crashes the car gets to A) let me use theirs as a loaner and B)pays for some modifications...haha...Ill be there.

 

Geez, Dave! What a low blow! Noah can't even flex his e-muscles and come back with something totally uncalled for and disrespectful! We all know he invented the Scandinavian Flick anyway...better known as the Main Line Slide...
I'll see if I can swing tomorrow. Lousy weather doesn't motivate me all too well...

Saturday morning is time to relax my friend.....chill....take a mental break.....get there when you get there. Too much adherence to the clock can shorten your life or make it seem to fly by anyway. I bought a Jag XK8 coupe, it will be my new everyday driver if it lasts my two week trial period. I think it's the same color as the 360 Joe had.

 

You know, I was just going to say, how dare you get us out of bed at 8 AM on a Saturday and not even show up!
