he was running the 2009 aero package with slicks - significantly less aero (like 25% less than current cars) hence the difference in times. they were never going to allow for a true comparison Hamilton vs. Shumacher or Kimi. No need to cause controversy

Kubica's time isn't that impressive. He was on slicks while Hamilton and Massa weren't. Heidfield was faster on slicks in day 1 than Kubica wasn't he?
