because of ferrarichat i have seen alot of nice cars , and met a few people.

 

Funny, yesterday I bought a Hummer SUT in Lewiville ( north of Dallas) and as I was visiting about other cars I owned ,the conversation went to Ferraris. To make a long story short, the saleman said " Do you know of a guy named Rob Lay who runs a website called F Chat? How about Tillman? " Rob, his name is Paul P. and used to work at Boardwalk Ferrari. We talked about Tillman's car making 100K miles and other topics. You guys are web celebrities. Everyone knows who you are. Thanks Rob, by the way I am going to subscribe, after all the years of lurking.

 

i 3rd this! f-chat has given me some people who made me grow as a person. and has also given me a DEEP love for f-cars!

That is one of the things that I love about this site, it isn't strictly Ferrari (despite the name and the efforts of a few members). While I have only met a few Fchatters, I feel like I know a lot of people just through reading their posts. While not an owner, I am surprised and impressed with how comfortable I feel sharing my knowledge and thoughts with everyone here. This site has a lot to offer both to owners and to us dreamers. Thanks Rob for allowing me to interact with those that are already living the dream.

Have a ton of friends made here, some even get up early on Saturday mornings just so we can hang out for an hour or so at Starbucks.

Learned about more than just cars here. Lots of folks doing good things for people in need. I've had the good fortune to help out on some of those, and probably would not have had the opportunity otherwise.

I have met so many great people here in F-Chat.

Even though parents are the ones who owns the exotics, I never really thought of becoming rich. But hanging out with you guys the past couple of years has lead me in the direction to becoming wealthy. You guys changed the way I look at things!
