I know this has probably been discussed before but here we go again. I have a mille miglia with hyperflow cats on my F355. The sound is amazing and it really sounds good. But I wanted to treat myself to a Christams present so what should I put on?? Capristo, Tubi, Quicksilver, Kriessig, X-OST etc etc Thnaks for any input/advice George
Xost is awesome! Capritso level 3 sounds glorious on the 355. Kresigg is awesome, but costs a lot more by memory. At the end of the day, you are probably better off picking the one you like best mate. Everyone will soon weigh in with they like to help you some more.
I've heard most of them and still think the x-ost and hyperflow is the best combo. It's probably the cheapest too.
what do you not like about your mille miglia? i am about to order it for my 355, has it been a good experience for you? oh yeah, i'm keeping the 355.
There is nothing wrong with the mille miglia. Without the Hyperflows it sounded great and when I put on the Hyperflows it sounded even better. WOW!!! I have spent some big $'s on the car over the last year including engine out job and just replacing some parts to renew the car back to pristine condition. Now I have finished that there is no more money to spend on the car. So I am just wanting an excuse to do something else to the car or change something. So the only thing I could think of was the exhaust. So there you have it!!!
Best exhaust.....NO EXHAUST I think straight pipes would rock! Anyone no where I can get a challenge pipe?

Ok my little two cents - my car sounded awesome when I switched to a high performance exhaust and hyper flow cats - but it is super-leggero after switching to an aftermarket header that had a higher gauge steel than factory. Robbie - your x-ost does sound awesome - no telling how many systems they've sold based on those clips.
my car came with cap stg3 and hyperflows, and I really don't want the car to sound any different, whatsoever. Around town (SanFran) it doesn't get the granolas making too many rude gestures or disapproving looks, but under WOT next to a wall or in a tunnel, it screams like a crazed, sex-starved banshee that hasn't had a decent meal in months. Not to mention the undeniable beauty of a 355, nothing looks better IMO, not even a 430 or 599. Also, 355 prices hit bottom a while ago, and seem to be holding, even in these winter months. I smell a surge... Oh yeah, if you do get a Capristo, make sure the shop that installs it gets the alignment right, mine is as crooked as can be (right pipe hangs out an extra 3/8-inch than left pipe). I'll definitely fix it during the upcoming major.
