    Dear Chatmates

The 0-60 numbers are due to the F1 gearshift? could the f430 system be updated by software to F430 Scuderia?

There is only one shift in the 0-60 run, and the difference accountable to the gearboxes is what, 70 ms at the most (I don't remember offhand the F430 shift times)? You're looking in the wrong area, the big difference is in the weight reduction.

+1. The car weights what 275 pounds less, and has 20 more HP. The gear shift is the last thing that will affect 0-60 times..

The weight reduction and slight increase in hp help, and also keep in mind that a big component of 0-60 times is the launch, so launch control software would also have a big effect.. i am not sure what, if any, changes were made to the launch control of the scuderia vs the 430...

Since were getting a bit technical, I believe the weight difference is closer to 220 lb.
