Just win, baby. Just win. J/K, but I think that cloud has almost blown over. The video never helped the Pats win. No one in the organization got to see the tape before it was confiscated. That doesn't make it right, but I hope it doesn't take too much away from a phenomenal season and a run at history.
I just think the Pats have cheated in the past, which has helped them along this season especially with games against the Colts.
The Colts couldn't finish them, nor could the eagles or the Ravens. Video, schmideo........It was poor execution.
David Garrard is the man!. I wont stop until ferrariboy/tonyromo fan makes me a tread!. You know who you are. Iam sure you remember me quite well. .
What you talking about, Romo's got like 3x the number of TDs and 1500 more yards passing. Not to mention Romo has completed more passes than Garrard has attempted. P.S. DG was born a few miles away from where I live.
I guess that is part of the point. The Ravens of all teams were very close to beating the Pats. Just look at how different the Ravens/Pats game was compared to the Ravens/Colts game. The Patriots are a great team, but don't look so hot anymore...
Pantera, I would be more than happy to make a "tread" for you but I'm not in the tire business. I tried my best and this is all I could do. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Does anybody except for me feel that the Falcon's coach just showed a fundamental lack of character with his little walk of shame off to the University of Arkansas? I know they have had a hard season, but no harder than - say - Miami???
Petrino called a Falcons staff meeting late Tuesday afternoon, a meeting which last about 10 seconds, sources told FOXSports.com's Jay Glazer. "He just said to us, 'Guys I've resigned, I'm going to Arkansas. I'm sorry. I'll be talking with you guys in the future.' And with that he turned and walked out the door. We haven't been told anything else," one assistant coach told Glazer. At this point, the assistant coaches have not been told who will be coaching the team going forward.
Total lack of character, especially after he's been talking about plans for rebuilding the Falcons as recently as this weekend. Its one thing if your going to leave for another job, it happens all the time in sports, but don't hide it and have some respect for the franchise that has been signing your checks. His decision to leave in the middle of the rough spot would not inspire confidence in me if I was an Arkansas fan.
Petrino pulled a ***** move, this team offer you a coveted job, Head Coach in the NFL. Instead, once your tired of it, you blow off the team and go to the college ranks. Still, it doesn't compare to Nick Saban go to 'Bama.
For Ferraridude - from an article on ESPN ranking all 64 QB's....... Oh, and I'll post this in the Romo thread too, just so you don't miss it. "About the only thing we agreed on was that Tom Brady was No. 1 and Peyton Manning was No. 2. From there, the first debate came, with some feeling that Tony Romo was right there with those two, but we eventually decided Romo was No. 4, behind Brady, Manning and Brett Favre."
1)Peyton 2)Tommy Boy 3)Tony "soon to be the greatest QB in NFL history" Romo 4)Favre 5)Big Ben There are a lot of Cowboys haters out there, so of course they are going to put Brett Favre ahead of the Ro-monster.
Anyone else notice their fun "bracket style tournament?" They put a lot of thought into it, simply advancing the higher number in every "matchup" untill Brady beat Manning in the final.
Brady or Manning is usually like a Ford vs. Chevy type of thing. They are both great, but people usually just have a favorite. And if you like one, you probably don't like the other. But, anyone can see that this year they are not equal and Brady is in fact the better QB. Romo is having a great year. There is no doubt of that. But, Favre has had a great CAREER. Romo has to string a few good seasons together before anyone can realistically consider him as good as Brady, Manning or Favre. And before you write back about how great he is, I am not saying he doesn't have the potential (he clearly does), but he needs to prove it first.
Obviously, Favre has had a better career, but right now Tony Romo is the better QB by far, just look at the Packers-Boys game.
Then by your own benchmark, you should have Brady ahead of Manning and Romo based on the Pats / Colts and Pats / Boys games.......
