I'm putting a trickle charger on my F355 for the winter. On the passanger side of the rear hood there is a small box with (+) sign and three bolds. Does it matter which bold I put the positive charge on?

Usually + sign means positive but to be sure why don't you use a 12Volts test light or a multimeter.
Also it might be better to use a battery tender instead, just so you can leave it for days/months without over charging.

Nope. They are all bridged together. I'd use the cigarette lighter adapter, then you don't have to remove and reinstall the cover each time, or leave the engine lid open. The cord is thin enough that you can safely close the door on it.

This works good, and comes with an 8 ft cord. Available at any Radio Shack.
