I was thinking about doing a charity car show at my school sometime this spring. Before I went any further I wanted to see if anyone was interested. I am in Williamsburg so I doubt any northern guys would be interested but maybe someone from Richmond or VA Beach. If anyone is interested please let me know so I could start something. Thanks ahead of time.

I might be interested. I'd need some more details. My hot rod might be ready as well.

    MB,

There is already a Ferrari gathering at the Italian Festival in Williamsburg hosted by one of our group and it is held at your school, too, where the Italian Festival is held each year. So, basically, this would be a duplicate event and I don't think realistically you would have too much interest as we would want to support one our club members at his event. You sound like a nice kid, but seriously, you need to get some friends your own age. No offense. :)

John, Thanks for caring but I have plenty of friends my own age, but none of them drive Ferraris nor share the passion with me. This would not be strictly Ferraris either and all the proceeds would go to a charity which as far as I know there are no bad ways to give back.

Chris, your thinking is to be commended. I think probably 75% of the activities we currently do make some type of donation to charity. We certainly do think of helping other less fortunate, and do quite often. The Italian Festival we do at your school (the Walzingham Academy) each September is for charity. Maybe you can ask them to direct a certain % to the charity of your choosing.

For example, we are doing a charity go-karting event for a police officer with a brain injury this coming January 20th. He needs our help.
