Dom, how do you like that aftermarket bracelet? I'd love a bracelet for my 25, but I'm not willing to cough up that kind of $$. I'd rather buy another watch.

Chas, what is the brown leather strap on yours? I'm about to buy a black baseball strap from www.europelli.com. I have the tan baseball, but have decided that the color doesn't really go with the titanium case.

Will post a pic next week.

It's OK. My understanding is that they are not as nice as the real bracelet, but I haven't seen a real bracelet up close. It does scratch pretty easily, but I believe the real bracelet does also. The PAM74 is titanium and steel, while the aftermarket bracelet is just steel (brushed + polished). If you buy the bracelet from Panerai, you can get it in Titanium and steel, which would probably be a better match for this particular watch.

However, the real bracelet is ~$2500, and I bought my aftermarket bracelet on ebay for ~$50.

The fit on some of the aftermarket bracelets can be a little iffy, and some people have reported that they scratch the inside lugs of the watch. However, if you adjust the bracelet properly, it shouldn't scratch. Also, some people put a little tape on the inside lugs to help prevent the scratching.

Nice collection Oengus. I'm not a collector, just the PAM74 that I wear daily. I really like the 233, but I am not sure that I can handle a 44mm watch, since I have tiny wrists, and am a short guy to boot.

Dom the 233 is really a nice watch....I think the 44 mm would be fine. I have a couple of 47mm that look great.

Mine's a 44mm. My wrists are smaller than yours, and I initially thought a 40mm would be best. But after I tried a few on I preferred the 44's.

My wrists are about 6.25-6.5", and I am a short guy (5'5"). I think a taller guy with skinny wrists can pull it off, but when you are short and skinny, it just looks waay to big for everyday wear. For casual weekend use, I can see how a 44mm might be doable, although, I think it might be better if I was a little taller.

Also I wear my watch every day, and it barely fits under my cuff. I dont know what I would do with a bigger one.
