It seems as though every time I go for a drive, no matter if the drive is short or long, I have a bad headache when I get home?

    Happens nearly every time.

Just went for a quick spin, and I have a headache again..

Maybe it's time for stock exhaust?

    Get a 328. Fewer headaches.

(More seriously: I had headaches after a couple of earlier drives - but with the windows down and top off it's not an issue. I think there's too much resonance in some of these cars. Another explanation is that you're worried about the car and it's a stress headache.)

I have a common condition as a passenger: Whenever someone is driving precariously, my mental equilibrium becomes off-balance because I'm not in control, resulting in car-sickness and head-aches.

You may have a hybrid of what I have.

Certain race tracks would wipe me out. Dizzy, headache ect... Road Atlanta did it everytime. I cant be a passenger either. In any car.

Buy a battery operated carbon monoxide detector at Home Depot or Wal-Mart for $20 and make a drive with it on to insure that you aren't getting exhaust fumes in the cockpit.

If it's the noise, a simple set of earplugs will answer that question on the next drive.

I certainly agree with NoDoubt on the CO, and I'd also wonder if it could also be noise or vision. It would seem to be one or more of those.

I think I will try that next week.

Gonna try this if the plugs don't work, I think it is the noise and vibration. But I have to get it figured out. The headache was bad today.
Actually took 2 excedrin and had to lye down after I posted this. just woke up, headache still here

I do not wear contact or glasses, been tested on a regular basis and no need for glasses

    No viagra needed Steve! :)

Be careful, I'm not sure if its legal to drive on the street wearing ear plugs, as it could be dangerous if you do not hear certain things around you.

I do think the headaches can be stress induced at times, particulary after a long drive and with too many idiots on the road. I wanted to strangle some idiot who missed his exit and then proceeded to cut off 2 cars myself included, just so he could try to make it over the curb and catch his exit! Even after pressing the horn and practically standing on the brakes to avoid him nearly taking out my fender and front end...he just continued on his way, driving over the curb and grass, oblivious to the dangerous situation he created. Needless to say I had one heck of a headache after that.

Best regards, and buy some tylenol,
    Dino

I know that there isnt anything against it where i live.

I was in an Ariel Atom once with helmet on and earplugs in.

    No problems with the police.

How about two Tylenol before the drive? Seriously, make sure the air flow in the cabin is good and you aren't exposed to exhaust fumes. I agree with an earlier post, get a CO detector and check out the cabin in your next drive.

I agree with No Doubt. Check out the CO level, if any. Do it first. That's potentially serious stuff.

It may be motion sickness. I get it after go-karting, and I imagine that if you are sensitive, even a spirited drive may do the same.

They make a non-drowsy version of drammamine, which may work.
