I originally wanted classic red but then recently changed my mind to titanium color. My buddy says he would get a black 430 because paint chips would be easy fix with the black paint. So now I am leaning towards black color it looks good as well... I can't really decide.

I just bought a black 430 (Nero Daytona) which is black metallic. You will actually have less visible swirls and scratches if you get metallic.

I bought silverstone and cuio. Why? Because I like it. Are you planning for someone else buying it down the road or your personal enjoyment? The question is easily answered, chips, swirls and all. Every color has a problem and a solution. What turns you on? Best

I just last week bought an 06 Nero Daytona with the tan interior after much deliberation. I am not a red/tan kind of guy, but did like the silverstone. Now that I have the Nero Daytona, I am so glad I made that choice--its beautiful, particularly in the sun. on the other hand, they are all beautiful when you get right down to it.

I wouldn't let paint chips and swirl marks be the deciding factor of the color I choose. With the right precautions, you can keep that to a minimum. Get the color you really want.

There isn't a "wrong" color for the 430.
Having a blk/tan 430 I can tell you it is gorgeous but if you are anal like I am it is a ***** to keep pristine.

What about Pozzi Blue with a tan interior, it's really a great, rarely seen color and it's understated if you don't want to go for yellow/red, etc.
I really like Tour De France Blue and Rosso Rubino too.
