Spotter's Thread

I was checking out a red 355 Spider today at the Red Hot and Blue BBQ in Leesburg, VA today. I think he's on FerrariChat but I don't know who he is. I'm still new to these beautiful vehicles. And his 355 looked awesome.

I was hoping he'd come out so I could check it out a little closer. I'm very casually learning about the 348's and I've never actually checked one out up close, let alone sat in one.

 

was it a 355 or a 348?

 

Sorry my post was a little confusing. It is a 355. What I meant was that I'm interested in the 348's and they are pretty similar in design to each other. I had never seen either model in person before.

 

Gotcha, I always remember my first 355 encounter.

Just spent the last weekend in DC with fam. Friday morning and into afternoon we went sighting-searching. Friday morning around 11:30 in Eastern Market Metro area was a rosso corsa 360 Challenge Stradale. Had a custom plate "360CSF1", wasn't a DC plate, either VA or MD I guess. Also later that afternoon at a parking lot in McLean, a Nettuno Blue Quattroporte. Non-italians were a glacier white Continental GTC conv. with red top on Georgetown Pike, Cornish White R-R Phantom on G. W. Parkway, and a dark sapphire 07-08 Bentley Azure in the driveway of a house in the Palisades of Georgetown. I'm not from the area so I did my best to detail everything I could remember.

That is quite a weird color combo

 

I saw a silver 360 today with a blower on it on Route 2 going to Annapolis. It really looked cool. I thougt it was Al. It had slicks on it sticking out way past th wheel wells. It also had chrome exhausts like a Pantera out the back flat panel. Was that you Al? Christmas early?

That guy lives right near me and is out ALL the time. I must see him twice a week when I am home!

 

I think he is someone chauffeur. The car had Handi Cap Plates and the guy driving it wasn't really dressed to impress and looked fine physically. I'm guessing he drives some rich poor handicap man around town. He was loving that Phantom though. That's for sure.

Just spotted Robert and his beautiful Yellow 360 entering the Virginia Gateway (near Best Buy). Hey Robert that was me blowing the horn!

I would be too!! I was starting to have withdrawl from not spotting or photographing anything rare and exotic! I thought I was seeing things when I saw Robert!

I heard but didn't see a tubied 355 yesterday around 3:30 at Madison Avenue Elementary School in Ambler. Anyone here? Oh and It was pouring rain out!! =)

Suprised, but grateful to see a green Aston Martin Vantage on rt. 2 in Wilmington, DE yesterday afternoon and a Silver 550 on rt. 52 in Greenville, DE yesterday evening.

Saw a phantom drophead coupe in Bala Cynwyd yesterday and parked next to Morrie's M6 tonight.

 

Lotus Esprit V8 (late model with round tail lights) in a dark color late last night in the Art Museum Circle.
