Haha this is too funny, that's the exact top speed I have driven! Last year, Autobahn derestricted road, BMW 525 Touring E60 rental. It wouldn't pull more, could get it higher but ran out of patience.

Max 170 mph as the driver and 196 mph as a passenger.

I don't think anyone should automatically lose their license for 122 mph unless they were in a school zone. On the open highway that is just beginning to stretch your legs.

Fastest for me is 175km/h on the road (110mph) and 165km/h on the track (103mph). My car is only geared to about 205km/h (126mph) and over 100mph it really starts to struggle to accelerate. I could beat it if I really really wanted to but I don't really. I will wait until I have a car fast enough to pull it quickly.

Over 120 mph in my fiat 124 at 16 on the freeway, going downhill of course, and the car was shaking like a bed in a cheap motel with a few quarters in it. But in the Ferrari its different, its possible to sleep right through it all.

The family car when I learned to drive (yes, there were cars in 1976) was a '74 Carrera. 150 mph indicated
First car was a '68 BMW 2002. 120 mph indicated

Next time I had a car capable of 120+ was my 1988 Golf GTI 16V. 133 mph calculated from tach and gearing charts.
Now I drive a Corrado. 130 mph indicated, but still pulling. Roads are just too crowded here now for top-speed runs.

On track: whatever 7000 rpm in 5th in a 550 works out to...pit straight at the Dubai Autodrome

250kph on Autobahn 81 towards near Singen on way to Zurich, 2007 BMW Z4 Coupe 3.0si. That was just this summer. :) Legally in an unlimited zone of course. You can actually get somewhere during those times.

On the track: 257.43 MPH while on a licensing run in an A/Fuel dragster at Englishtown. If I can find my timing slip, I will scan and post.

I don't exceed posted speeding limits on public roads...
