    My friend and I were talking about this and we were trying to find pics with no success. The F1 race after 9/11; Ferrari used a black F1 car(s) with minimal sponsorship labels. Anyone have pictures? Thanks.

    No problem. They had this livery at Monza, then just small Stars & Stripes at US GP. (and Michael had an American flag on his helmet?)

    yes. it was because of 9/11.

    they had the similiar thing too, painting the edge of the nosecone black, the F2005, for the Bahrain GP in 2005, as a mark of respect for the passing of Pope John Paul II
