Hi Guys, here is a video of the new 599 exhaust system by Capristo, which makes 34 hp more than OEM muffler design.
    Any questions call 360 410 1949

Look at the Dyno Jet numbers & turn up your speakers!

Also comes with an optional remote controller that you can program at what RPM you want the bypass valves to open!
There is nothing like this on the market. 309 ANTI CORROSION STAINLESS STEEL, 5 YEAR WARRANTY. Enjoy!

Introductory price of $4995.00 as shown on Video WITHOUT programmable remote controler.

Insane gain for an exhaust swap.

I'd like to see more of that car. White with dark gray wheels looks hot!

That or it's BS....you really can't see the dyno screen, so who knows.

It's not BS! Come on, do you think Capristo or I would risk our reputation on BS figures! Here is reality, Capristo has an in house Dyno Jet inside their building, they test develop, re test & so on till they get the performance figures that are considered to be a improvement over stock & a more aggressive sound.

The secondary cats are no longer used, if you were to look at the video & you were familiar with the exhaust system you would notice that the secondary cats have been replaced with free flowing pipes, and there are no check engine light issues with this set up.

I have enclosed 2 photos, one with the OEM muffler & one with the Capristo along with the airflow & how it actually flows during real testing.

When the valve is open there is a restriction on the exhaust as noted in photo with the OEM muffler due to the air being sucked into the muffler, this problem is similar to the OEM 355 system.

Michael, we made out okay compared to many, part of our roof got blown off, so we have a new one going on the house in a few weeks, the shop fared well, no damage.

I heard it was pretty bad in your area. Hope all is well.

Why would Ferrari put in that vacuum? The gain at the wheels is below 10%- I wouldn't call that mind blowing so if they have found more efficiency it is possible.

    best regards,
    Jerry

While the number itself (34) is large, the gain is not. It's a 600+ HP car, so 34 more ponies is somewhere in the vicinity of a 5% gain, not at all atypical.

You have a point there but I'm amused to find a "vaccum" system in the stock set-up.

In fact, every car manufacturer has to keep expenses as low as possible, while upscale parts makers have a much larger margin on benefits. Even ferrari cannot spend enough money to build most parts by hand.

Any chance to do a before/after dyno to confirm Capristo's claims?

The exhaust is beautiful and sounds so sexy! I am impressed by the gains in mid power range. The exhaust appears to deliver +30 hp there too, which would be like a 10% increase!
