Raymond, i think you are right
i to have heard rumors the periscope S were built using what they got in factory , given the financial problems it makes sense for them to use everything they had in spare to build the cars

It didn't work because, frankly, they didn't know what they were talking about.

    Sad...but true.

    Cheers,

Wow a car coming OUT of Japan! Will this be reasonably priced circa 2007 or early 2006? ;)

    Niiiice !!!

It looks like the famous Wolf car but the differences are:
    - Front spoiler bottom part too "pointy"
    - Front fender (black colored) shaped a bit different
    - Rear wing mount/towers a bit different if viewed from the side
    - Black interior instead of tan (very obvious difference)
I'm sure Joe Sackey will notice many more visual difference ;)

It looks very similar to the Dan Hanna's "wolf-look" countach in San diego museum, although this one has the correct side view mirrors.
If I own an LP 400 I would definitely modify it to look like this (with a tan interior of course).

    VERY nice find. Thanks

as correctly said it is NOT an original Wolf car

it does look nice though and looks nicely done (yet many things are different)
given the value and rarity of real Wolf cars the best way to have a countach that look close to these cars is to build one on a LP400 or lowbody S but IMO these cars are already collectable and is somewhat a pity to customize them

is the car in San Diego the famous Spazzapan car?

I assume that this is not 1120256 as 1120256 was painted in blu notte (dark metallic blue). The car shown here is painted in blu tahiti so it might be 1120124 (I am quite sure).

Can you enlighten us on the source of your findings?

My factory production register does not note "Blu Notte" for 1120256 and it certianly does not note "Blu Tahiti", for 1120124 for their original colors respectively.

    Please share.

Taken at Concorso Italiano at Quail Lodge in 1991, this is Dennis F's "1052". Interestingly, he has now gone to the Vitaloni Sebring units.

That is what had me confused. The single flag mirror mad me think it was 1034.

    Thanks Joe :)
