Four of us found the post out of place and maybe the other two understood the same thing out of your post. Anyway english is my third language and I understand it well enough. Maybe I'm not as dumb as you think, but maybe you're a genius. By the way you forgot to mention what tv do you own? Didn't you noticed the two questions. I bet that reading comprehension isn't the problem here.

    Merry Christmas

I thought you were joking about the TV question. If you really want to know it's a 50" Samsung Plasma, just bought it this Summer. But it probably cost a fraction of whatever tv you own, which also means yours is much nicer!

Well, I admit that I went overboard with the comment that "most" Ferrari owners are snobs. But you'll notice in the next sentence I mentioned that I also know a few Ferrari owners who are decent, good people. In fact, a distant relative of mine has owned several Ferraris, and he is one of the most grounded, down to earth person I've met. So I'm definitely not trying to generalize ALL Ferrari owners, and I definitely went overboard with that first comment, and for that I do apologize. But I do stand by my stance that there have been quite a few "snobbish" posts in this thread, and I have also met quite a few "snobbish" Ferrari owners. That probably goes for the new vettes also, but certainly less so.

    BTW merry Christmas to all.

This certainly qualifies as one of the snobbish posts I was talking about. Good god.

Thats a great tv, but I took six thousand to buy two tv sets, one for the bedroom and another for the family room.

One thing is that I do like the ZR1 and the faster it gets then the faster other car makers will have to go. Its all about pushing the envelope and someone is always getting ahead, too bad some people can't swallow this pill. I might have a negative about the interior, but at the end of the day who cares, they will be sold and bring enjoyment to those who buy them and thats what a car is all about.

Its ok to be 21, but this is a "Ferrari" Forum, and not the place for two or more individuals to work out their matuaration. There must be other forums for you and your friends to vent. Happy Holidays. Best

did you read the press release? chrome rim = optional. body kit are functional lfront lip and valences done in CF for downforce. I have to agree with coltzr1. It's great that the vette is pushing the performance envelope. Competition drives advancements. Of course, it won't replace my F430 or any ferrari for that matter but will be a good addition

WOW!!! I am truly stunned by many of the responses here, especially the one quoted above. This is one of the most disturbing posts I have ever read on any car enthusiast web site. Joke or no joke, this guy must have been seriously worked over by a Corvette owner at some point in his life. Please seek professional help before this destroys you.

As for the U.S. car enthusiasts who have posted on this thread to bash the Corvette, I have but one question for you. How can you be an American and a car enthusiast and at the same time speak ill of the greatest American made sports car of all time, the Corvette(not necessarily the new ZR1)?

What can we expect next? An American starting an “I hate apple pie thread” or perhaps a “Baseball should be outlawed thread”. LOL

I respectfully ask that we stop this exhibition of immaturity. Buy what you can afford, enjoy it and allow others to do the same. Best

LOL, that was me that posted that.... By the way, I have owned 2 Corvettes so no hatred toward them. I could have posted the same twisted thing on a Corvette message board about Ferraris... You guys are too serious... I am SO laid back in my life that NONE of this matters,,,, not even the serious threads... NOTHING matters in the grand scale of life so therefore I make jokes about everything (some good some bad obv) Was just a simple car/owner comparison attempt to be funny... STOP being so uptight guys.... just chill and enjoy life and be thankful for anything you have whether it's the love of a good person, a corvette, a velcro wallet or a Ferrari. Just stay focused on what really matters pls., and cars etc dont really matter one bit.... chill my sons, chill.... By the way, this will be my first and last serious post, I am not here to teach people the correct mindset of life.... All future posts will be some retarded comment in an attempt to truly help people see how silly we all really are. :)

Happy Holidays EVERYONE and a Healthy New Year.

*and by the way, Baseball is for homosexuals who just didnt want to name it an ass slappin contest. Baseball? OMG, cant believe they still have that sport. How stupid. Play a real game.

LOL, yeah it's pretty funny to see people try and act all suave and sophisticated, while misspelling every other word. You'd have to think that they got their wealth through an inheritance or lottery or something.

I just saw the top gear episode where clarkson tested the z06...he loved it on the track and then compared it to the 575 ferrari, wondering why the ferrari costs 3x as much...then he took the z06 on the road hated it in everydat road riding...suspension too stiff, truck like shifting, no refinement in the interiror, poor steering feel, too much heat transmitted in the interior, etc...in the end he said this justified the price difference between the two cars...After driving a good friends z06 extensively, i would have to agree with clarkson...the car is blinding fast and a great bargin but with truck like shifting, not the best steering feel, poor seats, and an overall feel of cheapness...but this is too be expected as you have to cut corners somewhere to go this fast this cheaply...also, the engine doesnt rev as smoothly as a ferrari or porsche or even bmw....
