I have been looking for a F50 GT for a long time now and have only seen the BBR 1:43 versions. Is there another maker, or a larger size out there? I don’t particularly like the 1:43 size; it’s small and hard to see all the cool stuff. I know there are some of you out there that customize their models, has anyone customized a F50 to a GT? I have seen the 1/12 Tamiya Ferrari F50 kit you were able to get to convert one but I have never seen on for sale.

I am really interested in a 1:18 scale.

A trans kit was offered recently for the 1/24 Tamiya F50, I believe there sold out. I bought one during the summer and they were selling fast. I'm surprised also that both Kyosho and mattel have pasted on this car so far.

Fujimi Model Company of Japan made a limited edition 1/24 F50GT hand built out of resin.
It was finished up to BBR standard and is no longer in production.

I can post photos if you want.It was mastered by Model Factory Hiro.

While I would love to have a 1/6 scale this one is a little too out of my price range.

Can you tell me more about this kit? I have seen the one for 1/12 but I have never seen one for the 1/18. Who makes / made it? And can I still get one?

The one in behind is 1/12 professionally built model, you can write to www.collectorstudio.com for more information

I don’t / didn't expect it to be cheap but the 1/6 is 9,000. I want one but I could by a used economy car for that. How much did the kit for the 1/12 from collector’s studio run? The 1/18 kit from auto place (which is exactly what I am looking for) says pre-order under status. What does that mean?

All thou its no longer in production I would love to see this size. What’s the size difference between a 1/24 and 1/18? (I know about 1/6, I mean in inches and detail level)

The Fujimi model in 1/24 pictured built is about 3 inches shorter that 1/18th.That 1/18th model kit looks like trash to me.The Fujimi 1/24 pre built was around $395.00 when new.Very high quality(BBR handbuilt quality). The 1/24 MSM kit is also pictured. It is ok
but will require a Tamiya F50 donor kit.If you want it
in 1/18th scale diecast you will have to wait(unless you dont care about the quality).

3 inches is quite a bit. But the 1/24 does look clean. Is there a release date for the 1/18 scale kit? Who is going to put it out Fujimi or MSM?

Not sure who will put out a new 1/18th version yet.Just give it time. The Fujimi 1/24th is very clean and also very very hard to find outside of Japan.

The one in collector studio is a professionaly built, as compared with 1/6, the 1/12 is not too expensive also...
