95 Spider - is it the 49K miles?...
95 Spider - is it the 49K miles? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1995-Ferrari-348-Spider-On-eBay-NO-RESERVE_W0QQitemZ120202868869QQihZ002QQcategoryZ6212QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
It wont sell at anything close to the current bid of $35k. Shill bidding will happen, then the auction will be canceled prior to the completion of the auction. If you are looking for a 348 Spider, there is one for sale by one of the 348 brothers... http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/member.php?u=44853 EDT: here is his car http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/348-Spider-10k-in-extras-California-car_W0QQitemZ250199842950QQihZ015QQcategoryZ157043QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
How did you know that its cheap? There is no "Buy it now" price. "Low reserve" means nothing and mileage is kind of high for a 95' (I've never seen a 95' with this mileage) , there is no info on its service history so it could be needing a major service soon. As well, the 4 buttons to the right of the shifter look weird (one should be the gas door opener) and appears like there are no buttons to press. If this is normal for a Spyder then disregard the 4 buttons statement.
LOL Chris! Scroll down to the page right below the last picture: New Soft Top is in excellent condition The car drives great, fires up immediately, and the clutch is very strong with great feel. LOW RESERVE
Dean my friend, Ya know I luv ya! This car has been for sale for many months, It started (months ago) as a "reserve auction" thus the reason for his text (which he hasn't changed) stating low reserve. The vehicle is now trying to be sold without a reserve. Happy New Year to you and the family. I have attached 2 images to show the differences of the auctions... I will put it on my watch list to see what it ends up selling for. I have actually been actively looking at buying a 355 and saw this on ebay in my search and thought that a 348 for $35K it is a good buy.
Chris... you're the man!! I actually skipped the top part trying to find a buy it now price below. Depending on service history it might be a good buy... I think. Still I have no clue what the deal is with those 4 buttons?! I am working New Year's Eve but will try to get home earlier if all remains quiet. Wishing you the best for 2008.
I am working as well, except I work a bit closer to home From my family to yours, Happy New Year! Have a drink for me since I don't drink
If you look close at the odometer, the numbers don't line up very well. Looks like it may have been rolled back.
I think they wanted 45k. This is probably the reason it's cheaper than others.. 12/14/2006 LAS VEGAS, NV Motor Vehicle Dept. REGISTRATION EVENT/RENEWAL TITLED OR REGISTERED AS A FLEET/RENTAL VEHICLE
I had one of these that lookede exactly like this car except mine had the four buttons on the console installed. those look to be removed.
Let's see. A Vegas rental Ferrari. I bet this thing is a real piece of work. I wouldn't buy it without a PDI, which I'd put money would fail miserably. Also as someone else noted. The odometer looks fishy.
14 bids already and price now up to $39,100. How do people bid knowing they might end up with it, without inspecting anything about the car. The seller does not even have a service history posted?!?! Why does "Graham" want you to call for questions instead of posting some info?
Just an observation but the read 348 sider badge is missing. This makes me wonder if it was ever in a slight accident & they never bothered placing a new one on. If anyone runs a Carfax on it I wouldn't be surprised in the least that it claimed to be never been wrecked but repaired at the most cost effective way as possible. Only the PPI will tell.
And a Florida title, which IIRC doesn't disclose anything other than the fact that it's a car. Probably overpriced at $45K.
Yeah, these 348s are great. Enough of this crap. I feel like I wandered onto the Prius board. Back to the 308/328 forum now where we all drink, smoke, speed and chase girls.
