you are not alone supercool, period, perfect for the shape colour, i think there are few colours that suit the car as that (yellow and silver probably) add orange was and somewhat still is THE brand colour....
The Countach LP400 built for His Imperial Highness the late Shah of Iran, Mohammed Reza Pahlavi. Revelation of the location and chassis number of the car are worth more than my life... Joe www.joesackey.com Image Unavailable, Please Login
The Caddy in the background looks to be up on jack stands. Based on the "ride height", perhaps the Countach is as well. I would guess it would take the load off of the springs during long term storage.
LOL I have decided to be Italian...what is behind you does not matter...in re-doing my LP400 there will be no mirriors...
Keeping as it came to this world red/black.. .the car is being totaly redone from top to bottom..cant wait...
This is my alltime favourite LP400 picture found on the joesackey.com site. http://www.joesackey.com/galleryupload/albums/Batch%20Add%20Files/Countach%20LP400%20Periscopa%201/Countach_LP400_Periscopa_1-10.jpg Where was this picture taken and what is the name of this colour. I use it as my computer wallpaper. The contrast between the background and car itself is brilliant. Thanks Image Unavailable, Please Login
Picture taken in Bologna by John Lamm who supplied it to me. The color is "Verde Scuro" Joe www.joesackey.com
Although red/black is not my favourite colour combination for the LP400, it is a good decision to keep original standards.
The car's restoration might be finished in 2008, but I assume it will be ready to drive not before 2009. Let's see. Bruno Paratelli did the seats, yes. I did not see them up to now, but I was told that they look perfect.
