May I ask for those of you who have the 1:18 BBR Enzo how much did you pay for yours? It seems like this model has almost the same price as the AutoArt Bugatti Veyron on 1:18 scale. These are the models I'm trying to acquire in my collection. It seems that I'll be spending around $500 or more for both. It's a very expensive hobby I tell you!

I believe the BBR Enzo was about $300. The Bugatti should be around $100

Those are some very good prices. Even a little low. Well done Cavallino.

I have seen several sell recently on Ebay for around $190---Some as low as $170 and a few others for $215 or so....

When it comes to diecast models I prefer to pay the MSRP (which Cavallino is a little lower than) from a resputable, trusted authorized dealer rather than a fly by nighter at ebay for the lowest possible price because it is more comfortable for me. If something goes wrong I don't like to wing it. And diecast models frequently have issues.
    As they say
"The cheap comes out expensive".... sometimes... unless you like to live dangerously.

Plus I like Cavallino- spunky. Got the goodies. and a sponsor to boot.

bought a black bbr enzo from cavallino models........good model & good service at a reasonable price.
.....i always find flaws on the models purchased from ebay.....not sure if that is the reason for discounted price....
i don't buy high end models from ebay anymore.....then again, i'm very picky.

I agree with you for sure---but if you do your homework --there are plenty of resputable dealers on Ebay selling models---I wouldn't buy from someone with poor feedback, a new seller, bad grammar in the ad turns me off also----For every bad seller there are 3 great sellers---just have to learn what to look for I guess... You can't go wrong with Cavillino for sure---I have bought a few models from them and had a great experience...

Because I am not up on who's who in diecast dealers on Ebay. I'm sure they are not all fly by night. Some are quite wonderful- no doubt. The MSRP on those BBR is about $300 ($299- I'm sorry con excuse me) and Cavalilino has a nice little discount without it being too cheap to wonder what's 'a matter with it. $170 is a back door discount- no proper dealer would sell it for that. Not even $190.

Bless it. $170 -$190 is a total desperado.

You would be surprized at the surcharge some companies put on models. It is kind of like when you walk into Macy's and you see Ralph Lauren at 60% off and the store is still making money. What makes you think that it is any different with models?
Cavallino or Replicarz have advertisings in Forza magazine, here, and bunch of other places. Then they have the staff to provide us with the great service that we are used to get from them. Compare this to someone who just stocks bunch of boxes in his garage and checks his email once a week. Actually when you think about it, you have to be crazy to pay retail to anyone on e-bay.

No dealer may---but there are plenty of people out there who need money for one reason or another. My last 6 models I have bought all off Ebay from different sellers. All models were either Kyosho, AutoArt or HW Elites---All brand new in the original box---I saved on average 15-25% off of what model dealers are selling these for...Example---I just got the Kyosho 575 GTC for $100--brand new in the box--Most places are selling these for $115 and higher,.... The HW 430 Scuderia is very hard to find right now because it is just being released---some are selling on Ebay for $120----just got mine for $65....Brand new in the original box...Plenty of good deals out there----just a matter of finding them.. The money I saved on those last 5 models by looking for deals, just bought me a model for nothing basically....

I know what the wholesale price is of this model and Cavallino is very fair. 170-$190 is, as I said, very questionable and quite desparate.

but i agree, if you are looking for the absolute cheapest, rock bottom price for something and that is the main concern- ebay is your best bet for diecast. I wouldn't buy a BBR from anyone other than a proper BBR dealer, The Bugatti maybe, but not the BBR. but that's me.
You all have a great New Year.

I'm off to burn some more bridges. Only 1 more day left and still have several to go.
