Saw this car last weekend. It needs some love and a hug.

Alas, 3096 still unsold @$310K after being on ebay (again). Is the seller simply over-optomistic or is this car really worth much more?

    Indeed 4878.

The highest mileage Miura SV I know of (some 90,000 on the odometer).

The "Jota engine block" is the stuff of lore...

It has a standard Miura SV block with a pair of P400 cylinder heads from different years (non matching numbers). The car returned to the works shortly after manufacture with severe engine problems. The cylinder heads were replaced using units they had in the workshop and a dry sump kit was added with Wallace's help to ensure longevity. It worked.

A cool SV in original paint color "Oro Longchamps".

Well it must have been fairly dry summer weather on the 25th of May 1971 when Monseiur Dembiermont took delivery of the car because he drove it fast enough as to go beyond the limits of that poor engine :)

    How DO you do that?
How do you look at a photo of a car, and bam... you know the serial.
WTF is the secret to your jedi powers over bull serials?!?!

I mean, I can understand knowing the dates of every cars delivery... or hell, who mounted the original rims on it at the factory along the line... I'm sure there's paperwork for things like that. But... without a pic of the plate, or vin tag... how in the F do you just magically know what each car's serial number is (with very few exceptions)... ?!?!?

    :)

Well, we'll forgive you the 1% ... but I just wanna know the secret to the ones you do.
Do you just personally know the owners of all of these cars and keep up with exactly which ones are in which colors in what countries at every given moment so you can tell just from a photo?

    Salut Bernie! Ca va?

Thanks for the beautifull Lambo photos, especially in the "Lambo with pretty girls" category.... For a Ferrari owner, you have pretty good Lambo stuff...

    Salut Philippe,
