Don't despair, I saw the bogus error message today as well which looked like their DNS registry was broken (hijacked, corrupted, etc.), but their site is back.......

I just clicked on your link and it was there. I visit this site regularly and they just sold two Daytona Spyders, both over $1.5mm.

Site works for me. I've never heard of them having any problems, but maybe I've not paid enough attention. Perhaps a bit of caution is called for before saying someone is shut down.

They seem to do a good business with a very good reputation for the most part. I've been to their shop multiple times, they always have what they advertise. Bruce is a very nice guy. I was once there oggling over a Daytona that was outside and that he had for sale. I happend to mention that I had never ridden in one. He told me he was going to pull the car in and for me to jump into the passanger's seat. Gave me a 10 minute ride and then pulled the car inside. He did not have to do that and he had no expectation that I was going to buy the car from him. However, if/when I go looking for a vintage car, I intend to contact him.

Thumbs down to this post. Bruce has been around a long time and is very generous with rides etc. Personally I have never heard anything about this business that isn't positive. I can still remember the old shop in Berkely. Maybe you should re-phrase your post.

I like their Web site and they have a great inventory. If my post offended some, I apologize and the Moderator can delete it. I was mostly concerned that they were permanently gone.

    Link is down again.

Hmmm.... Looks like it might be time for them to go host shopping.

Haven't checked their site lately but they are sending out e-mails on a regular basis announcing new arrivals. Got one today re. a Gullwing. My experience is they are good folks though the asked amounts are a bit pricey on occassion. But, hey, that's just a starting point.

    Cheers

I remember visiting the shop in Berkely when I was young. Seeing all the Ferrari's, cobras and other exotics It was a candy store. Still a great place to visit today and have never heard anything negitive. Some of my friends have purchased cars from Bruce and only have good things to say. They should get a big thumbs up for all of the excellent transactions that took place over the years.

Our site was down over new years weekend and Monday the 31st. Our host server was "overloaded" so thats why it didn't work. Other car website that use the same host was also having problems. Everything is up and running now with all our inventory up to date.
And to bryan- "but I know that they have had business problems before."----whats that supposed to mean??

Can only say that I bought my vetroresina 308 GTB from Bruce, and everything was absolutely perfect +++++ he is honest, documentation was very precise, car came to Denmark and was exactly as informed and expected ...I bought it unseen based upon my believe in Bruce & Co.

Thumbs up for Bruce & Co.

I was wondering the same thing. I've NEVER heard anything bad about that business. The cars all look really great too.

I did some clean up in here, to correct Bryan's posting error. Felt the thread should stay, just remove the mis statement.
