    Hi All,

    I hope I'm posting this in the right section as much research has led to nothing. In a couple of weeks I'll be going from Canada to California for 3 months. While there I want to buy a car but my Canadian insurance will only cover me for 2 weeks. Is it possible for me to buy insurance as a NON RESIDENT of the US for the time I am there. If so what do I do to buy insurance? I ask for as much detail as possible or even some insurance companies to call. All my searches have come up blank and the insurance people I spoke to know nothing. Help please :)
