Saturday drive???? 1-5-07 DC,VA,MD

Supposed to be sunny and 50 degrees on Saturday! Anybody up for a meet and drive or photoshoot?? I really want to get some decent pics of my car while its still real clean from Chris's work!!!! Maybe meet somewhere out near FOW and then a stop by there and then head somwhere for some pics, either individual or group pics? Any decent places out in Lowdown(Loudoun) for that? Toggie, you got the 411?? Maybe a drive down the GW PArkway, stop at one of the over looks??

I'd love to join in and show off Chris's work on my Red 2004 360 Spider, just purchased last month. Meeting at FOW would also work for me and the opportunity to get some great pics would be an added inducement. Chris are you as good at photography as you are at detailing?

 

Alan, great to see you on the board! My photography is still at amateur level but I think I can pull some decent shots here and there. Ed is and Ken on this site probably have the best photography skills in the area.

I may be interested. I am working late Friday evening and may not get off until around 4am, but if I finish early (around 12 to 1am) I may be interested.

Damn, if Chris is there I may have to wash my car. Its black and driven daily and caught in a few rains. Pretty nasty right now but its 17degrees and I am NOT washing it

I can probably make it, that day is my birthday so it will be a good present to get to take some pictures. What time are you thinking?

 

you're driving up from williamsburg to see 3 or 4 cars? that's like 3 hrs each way isn't it?

Don't worry about how far he has to drive----The local Chinese restaurant down here needs a new fishtank...

 

I will be in Fredericksburg for the weekend so it will only be about an hour and a half.

I actually just picked up an awesome Pro-Style external video system for the car that I've been dying to test out - it should turn out allot better video than my Drive with a Hero footage, so you guys can have some action footage on top of David's/Chris's Photography covered on the drive. Speaking of which - does anyone have a route covered? I also have a friend with an awesome '05 Silver Mamba Edition that would love to come along for the drive and meet you guys as well..

 

Frederick is 2 hours north of me. Fredericksburg, VA is about 35 min. south of me--right down 301/... I am only about 15 minutes from the MD/VA line--Harry Nice bridge...

Oh ok, I never even thought about that, I always take I-95 and I never knew MD was that close.
