Dude, you can't be serious.....there are more cops patrolling that stretch of road than u can shake a stick at and right now fines are double!! At this time of the year there is also alot of rain and rock slides (especially with all the construction going on) so no thanks! I was just up in whistler a couple of weeks ago and that whole section of road is riduculouly slow.

    Doc.

It still a bit early and most exotics are still hibernating. I will discuss with Todd and a few others regarding the weekly meeting spot.

    Stay tuned...

Well this week is supposed to be good, sun shining and everything :D. Atleast that's what the weather channel said. Sound to me like an excuse to get the F-Cars out!

Nothing planned as of yet. Still too early in the season. Dont get too excited over a few sunny days, next week will probably be all rain.

I thought I'd take initiative and get things rolling.

I spaced out and spoke with a friend who owns a cafe shop, and the parking seems ample in comparison to other places. He offered to reserve us a table, even though the place doesn't take reservations, just to have everyone sit together and be on the safe side, if we'd like.

    Parking Situation:

There is parking on the street (pay meters), and on weekends it's usually empty for everyone to park together. Street parking gives you direct view of the cars and coffee shop, easy to keep an eye on the cars. If everyone doesn't fit, there is street parking 1 block away from the shop on Cambie.. Additionally, there is an underground parking garage right across the shop, has a little bit of an inclined ramp; Alternatively, a few doors down there is 2 storey parking garage, which is ground level.

Location is low key, away from high traffic cars & people.

Breakfast service will start soon in the summer, but aside from that, they have some very good waffles! ($6 - coffee and a waffle with one topping)

    Who? FChat & Friends
    What? Cars & Coffee
Where? Cafe Medina, 556 Beatty Street
When? Tomorrow (Sunday, May 25th) weather seems cloudy with possible showers. So possibly next Sunday - although Tom won't make it.

Todd it's up to you if you'd like to organize a run before or after.

I'm hoping for bi-weekly. Cafe opens at 10 am, so 11 am sounds good. It really depends on the consensus that we get from the owners.

Looks like the showers are set for the PM from the other weather sites that I looked at, so the AM seems reasonable.
