another 10 years will fly by . mark c at maranello would be counting the days . you'd think he will sell a lot more cars then .
You are still a young pup mate. By the time you are ready to hock it off, Pappy will be wealthy enough to buy it from you and drive it around the streets looking for young poon-tang.
I predict some F40 owners might be in for a surprise when they front the registry office in 10yrs time. No further comment, so don't ask
Time for a bit of an update. This is some re-plating that was done recently. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Awesome pics mate! Thanks for sharing! There are not too many guys that share these types of "clean up" pics on their F50. You are a perfectionist! I am looking forward to seeing this monster in the flesh. Ill be there in 2 weeks time. Please tell your butler to prepare the guest suite for Nicole and I. At the very least mate, looking forward to catching up with you and the other Mexicans. We will have to organise a dinner or something one night. I will be there the 23rd to the morning of the 26th.
The downside to F40/F50/Enzo ownership- the fuel bladders are "lifed" at 10 years. My car is 341 of 349 (+) and was made in 1998. Yet the tanks are dated variously 1995/1996. This indicates that the tanks were made in batches early in the production run (started 1995) and sat around until used throughout the production run. I got an official letter indicating my car is due for tank replacement. The dealer wants $18,604.70 for the job: FUEL TANK $13,834.05 SAFETY SPONGES $1770.67 LABOUR 20HRS $3000 TOTAL $18604.70 After market tanks are available from ATL and elsewhere for considerably less. Still pondering this one! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The cars are not actually at home at the moment, though I am sure you can arrange to have a look at them. Look forward to catching up when you are down here.
This one is still being resolved. Some DH spanner spinner in the cars past overtightened the drain plug in the oil pump and put a hairline crack in the casting. It's apart and being repaired now, pictures to follow. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
