at a local bar last night, when ordering some drinks, i over heard a conversation about a "Ferrari F430 Spyder". I just sat back and listened to this 65 year old trying to pick up some 20 year old. Sitting back and laughing at what he had to say was pretty entertaining, but then there came a point when i couldnt take it any longer. I figured it may be pretty funny to call his bluff. I asked him if his F430 was a V8 or a V10. He quickly came up close to my ear and said " i dont have the car, im just trying to pick up the girls" This really pissed me off being that some people use these cars as leverage or weapons, So I acted like I didnt hear him, repeated what he said a little louder ( so the girls could hear ). That was great, girls took off and I ended up with them later on. It was a great night.

Anyways, anyone else have any interesting bluff stories?

Booo...you messed up the guys game. ha, he just wanted some fun for the night. :D

The flop is 10 K 8 with 2 hearts on the board, i hit trip K's, guy raises large i just call, just us 2, the turn shows a 4 of clubs, guy checks, i raise he calls, i figure hes on a straight draw or heart draw, probably one card a A of hearts, the river shows 7 club, guy raises 1/2 his chips, i just call since i want to see how he plays, if i moved all in, he would have folded, and what do you know, I called his bluff, he was on a flush draw A 5 of hearts.

Is that the bluff your talking about? :)

If he really had the F430 Spyder, he wouldn't need to 'try'. :)

Doesn't make a damn bit of difference. That fella in the bar was all hat and no cattle. He simply got owned and to the victor goes the spoils.

Hey, were you the old man? I MUST be you.
Oh, and dont put yourself on tooo high of a pedistal. You ( "a Ferrari guy that I am trying OH SO HARD to be cool with" ) are not the type that I would call a gentleman.
If your comments are hateful, or just plain anoying, keep the SMALL hands off the keyboard and move along.

Right because a gentlemen would intrude in someone else discussion. Or perhaps a gentleman would "steal" another mans date?

    Im kinda lost with that..

    Excellent point Antony.

These types of threads are hilarious. The thread will get out of hand and someone will cut it off.

    Cheers

And you are a "gentleman"? Your comments that night to the stranger weren't hateful, annoying? Learn how to spell then come back with a "kill" story about your Lambo/ Ferrari races.
