There is a time, and a place for that. In this instance, it wasn't called for, and probably done by a pimply faced moron, who'll never earn enough for a Ferrari. I'd watch what I say, when I say it, and who I say it to. Could be the person bluffing has nothing, but is related to someone who can do you some harm.

It's the old cannon from my mom: be careful what you say to people, you never know who they know, and what they can do.
