I had a complete spare set but I sold them all to Jim. They are available from the dealer parts department but be prepared to pay for it. I'd check with Daniel and usual sources first.

My car showed up with one broken when I bought it. I think I paid about $400 for the drop link, bushing and grommets (IIRC and that was 4 years ago).

 

I have the rears on my car, but the fronts are available with the sway bar. They are for a 308GTS...
I havent seen any rears on Ebay lately.

Have a look at the aftermarket anti rollbars. These typically use two bearings on a piece of rod end, at a 90 degree angle.

MUCH cheaper, readily available and adjustable

That type of end is commonly called a 'Heim joint' or sometimes called a 'spherical bearing'.

 

Not that I can help with a replacement, but I do have a question!

As part of my suspension rebuild I just started looking at my drop links yesterday. I've got new "Silent Block" bushings for them and would like to know what the trick is for removing the old ones (and inserting the new ones). These silent blocks are different from the other suspension bushings in that they slide in in their own steel collar -- they appear to be a more difficult replacement than the others that I've tackled.

Yes they are a press fit. Any standard shop press should be able to do it. I just happened to have access to a skilled worker and about a 200 ton press at work when I did mine but a much smaller press will do it I'm sure.

The easy way is to look for a good set of used drop links.

I bought some bigger sway bars from a very helpfull chatter, without links. If you look at the aftermarket bars, they use "Heim joints", as Verell mentioned. These are almost bullet proof. The upside is that they are likely cheaper than buying used, (certainly cheaper than new), They will likely never wear out and they will make the sway bar more effective because there is no rubber damping. The downside is that they are not orriginal and may contribute an itsy bitsy bit of harshness to the ride because they are not isolated by rubber.

So, here is what i did, i measured the lower controll arm stud and the sway bar end that mounts the link, ordered a pair of male and female end links that fit together, ( same diameter and thread pitch) and put them on. You may need to play around a bit with washers to obtain the same fitted length across the ball end.

If this sounds interesting, take a look at the Saner Bars that a lot of members have fitted, or pm me and i will go out and take a few photos and measurements.

The front and rear links are different lengths. Parts manual will show the numbers.
It looks as if the anti roll bar hit something, thus the link broke (Marks on the lower A arm). One of my links was welded, these are just aluminum (aluminium in some places ).

It can be done (barely) with a 3 ton lever type arbor press & a couple of carefully selected sockets. Birdman & I used off the shelf ES poly bushings to replace the silentblocs. See this thread in the old Fchat for the procedure & ES part numbers:
