I would also drop the Vette before the Charger.

Here is my "classic". Its a 1964 Lincoln Continental Convertible. Its about as far away from a Ferrari as you can get. Can anyone say "landyacht"? The car is a blast, my kids love to drive in it. Its very economical on gas (from an inverse consumption point of view) Its very efficient at consuming as much gas as possible. As a friend of mine once told me. "You might as well be tossing styrofoam out of it as you roll down the road"

I'm about to pull the motor. This will be the most mechanically complicated thing that I have ever attempted beyond replacing my master cylinder and rebuilding my brakes to wish me luck on that one.

    warm regards

    Ken

My father nd I own this 64 1/2 Mustang, built on the second day of production in April '64. Car was auctioned at the Worlds Fair that year and we bought the car from the original owner. Well over $16k in restoration, all the way down the frame. Funny thing, Ford wanted to buy the car from us during the 25th anniversary of the Mustang, well we kept here!
I call her "Betty" and I drove her thru high school and college, she is retired with my Dad in NC.

The car did not come equipped originally with seat belts!! Lap belts were added later!
