I collected my Sessanta from Maranello on Monday, and now she is back in the UK! The quickest route home would have been due north, over/under the Alps, and then through Switzerland, Germany and France. However, north of Piacenza there was a lot of snow on the ground so I decided to go via Genoa, Monaco, Aix, Lyon, etc. 1150miles over 2 days, and the Sessanta handled it superbly! Please let me know what you think of my colour combination - Blu TDF and Bianco Fuji! Thanks. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
is that a chrome badge on the wheels?????? nice........ p.s can see the scuds in the background being prepped
But I frankly think its one of the greatest V12s ever made by Ferrari, fantastic car there, and the color combination is so retro yet contemporary, a bit of the 60s/70s mixed with the cutting edge, enjoy her S
Very special. Are those challenge wheels ball polished? PS: you took the route I'll be taking when I take delivery of my 599. I did this with my M6 last summer and enjoyed it very much. Good luck with her. She is a true beauty.
Many thanks. Try to stay at Chateau de Bagnols, just north-east of Lyon. A stunning hotel and great food and great parking!
Nice car RTB, I really like the 612 but i'm not a fan of these two colours combinations... If I had the oppotunity to buy a 612, it would be simply a black one, with HGTC package, and black/red daytona seats But yours still a great car, enjoy it to the max
Very beautifull color combination. I like it very much. My dealer told me that first car will arrive soon to German F-dealers. Will visit dealership to take a look at this beauty and to take some pics. Best.
Combination looks sick, will this be your DD? Also would love to see a close up of the new centercaps and interior shots.
Congrats, very nice, kinda reminds me of the MC12s with those colors. I took that route when I was in Europe over 20 years ago, on my way to La Spezia, where I was arranging delivery of a yacht my dad bought. One big difference, I was in a rented Renault .
an intresting choice of colours, congratulations with the car. As I understood the Sessanta version of the 612 all have different '60 anni' badges inside the cars, the same which can be found on the baton that travelled the world. May I ask which badge your car has? Best Jurgen
I like it. With the myriad of color combinations, Ferrari's are like going to a clothier to pick out a proper suit, shirt and tie combination. You either have style or don't.
I'm not wild about the color combo, but that may very well be because I'm not used to seeing such a drastic contrast on cars. If I got used to it, I might end up liking it.
I really like the color combo, I think blue and white really go well together. I like the wheels too. Are they the same Challenge wheels that are optional on the F430/599?
I thought that the Sessanta was only available in Grigio Scuro and Rubino Micalizzato. Rik, you really have some pull with the factory huh?!?!? Congratulations on the new ride! It looks awesome! I took essentailly the same route as you in 1985, but in a VW Vanagon with mom and dad up front and us four kids in back, National Lampoon's European Family Vacation it was not! Forza, Dennis
What a beautiful and desirable car! Can you choose any color combo for the exterior? Oh and i see two Scuderias back there!
Fantastically beautiful. I am a big fan of the 612 and I have never seen such a beautiful example. Blu TDF and Bianco Fuji is simply stunning. I had a QP GT Sport in Bianco Fuji and it is an amazing colour. As beautiful as the car looks in the photos I am sure it looks even better in real life. Bianco fuji is difficult to photograph to show the way it highlights the shape of the car. No need to wish you to enjoy the car - that is a given with you
