I really need to get myself to Auckland to see one of these runs :D
I'll be there in my new (new to me anyway) 355 Spider. Be a shame to miss you Jeff, good luck with the shift.
oooo, that sounds nice. I could down a ice cold beer right now. I need to get some aircon for work. We should organise a Ferrari gathering at your new home, see what the neighbours make of that.....hahaha

We had a great fun run yesterday, 230kms of great roads. Photos and full run down will be added to the FOC-NZ fun run thread once time permits.
Thats a great number plate FF430. Didn't know NZ allowed these. Normally there plates are really boring.
Hey, here you can have anything you like, six characters. like onmyex ih8tax pigb8 etc! plates.co.nz is the place to have a look.
Understand that Jeff, I was making reference to the FF430 plate. Now compare that to the photo at the bottom and it is boring. The font and plain layout.
I don't think the bottom F430 was privatley owned, rather it was a dealer car like the Lexus beside it. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Am I the only person who hates seeing shields on road Ferraris? No Dino (or any other Ferrari of the period) ever left the factory with shields on it, only the works competition cars had them. Probably one of the saddest things the FIAT marketing guys have done to Ferrari, disrespecting a tradition that originated when Enzo was running Alfas in F1. While I'm being a "grumpy old man", I'll also point out that Dinos should also have black stoneguard paint under the front and rear aprons and along the sills.
I've just noticed that 246 has a cavalino in the front grill, so the owner apparently has no clue anyway...
