Official HAUS OF PIZZA Lunch Gathering Schedule!

Moderators - If you don't mind making this a sticky it would be appreciated!

I spoke with Rick and he's all for a regularly scheduled lunch gathering at his place every other week on THURSDAY. As the weather warms we should try to bring out the F cars! Let's plan to meet as follows:

November 13 (only once in Nov. due to Thanksgiving)
December 4, 18

Mark it on your calendars! That's 25 lunch gatherings for the year! Let's see ... two to three slices per lunch .... average of 300 calories per slice ...

Should be a fun year!! Looking forward to having lunch with everyone. Always alot of fun. Good company, good conversation, excellent pizza, beautiful Paul Mitchell girls .....

Understood, but it might make things easier in this case. HOP, for example, could have this one sticky for the whole year, or two threads for each of these 30 or so dates during 2008. How about one more sticky as a general event calendar and we try to keep it limited to just posting upcoming events without comments. Then as each event gets closer people can start a new thread if they have questions, comments or to add photos later? HOP is a pretty regular gathering already, but I can see how starting one for other regular events like Carlsbad, In-N-Out, Bob's, Yard House et al would get out of hand, even though they tend to generate a couple of posts each every month or so.

 

Thanks for the support Frank but it seems that the powers to be don't agree so we'll work around it. We'll just have to be diligent about bringing the thread to the top a few days prior to each gathering.

 

That'll work better to remind people rather than a "static" sticky.

I will alert the media!! So do we need a car count for next week so I can block off parking spots? Or, I can block off half a dozen and see how it goes.

 

I think blocking off six (6) spots for each gathering is a good call. Some days we'll have less and others we'll have more. We're there early enough to not interfere with other businesses one way or the other.

 

Damn ... a whole week away still.

Tuff schedule, but I'm missing this. Gonna try hard to make it, 308QV.... sans supercharger, or maybe just the supercharged Tacoma daily driver (with Scuderia Ferrari sheilds, of course !)...been a while.
