That is one AMAZING boat!!!! While I am not a huge boat fan, I can certainly identify a nicely built example and yours looks stunning! ENJOY HER!!!
True But I am more of a fan of the 70's/80's and 90's. But still respect the even older ones too of course. That old 5 is incredible...is it a real Alpina, more pics? Thanks again.
I don't believe you either. Can I see some proof in person, too? Kidding aside, people like that shouldn't even bother posting, esp. when it's their first post.
LOL. Rick, come on out! Just got done putting the finishing touches on the M1 and went and flogged the Noble this morning, it's warmed up and ready to go.
That M1 is serious. And has seriously gone up in in value! There is a fellow Canadian fchatter that owns an actual retired M1 racecar that he still races today. I saw it at Mosport and fell in love!!! CMT, once again you do have great taste in cars and just as fun (if not more fun) than the "$300K" cars you guys just spoke about!
Ok..how about this. LS-1 corvette motor, some cam work, valve springs etc... 20" of travel all the way around Seats my whole family of 5 Headsets for all of us to talk or listen to Ipod. absolute BLAST!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Chances are he's calling BS because he just came here from a Honda tuning site... where everyone calls BS on everything. Don't sweat it. -Colin
+1. I remember seeing 1 in the classic orange at John Robert's BMW (now BMW Dallas). Man, it was awesome. I don't know if I was attracted to it because it was a BMW or because Lamborghini had a hand in building it.
Wow what an amazing thread. Good to see everyone has toys that they enjoy. The standouts are Tarek with his yachts (and exquisite taste in cars!!). I am not such a boat person either but the idea of cruising round on that thing makes my mouth water!! Rareguitars......whoa!!! What a collection. Would love to come over for a jam sometime, judging by your guitars I feel we may have similar taste in music! Ok mine are fairly mild in comparison but keep me amused and in the case of the yellow one......poor! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Alpine "Best Toy in this Thread" Really cool to have a huge piece of history like that. Daily driver for real?
Well, to be honest, I really am not sure. I am actually crossing my fingers that it does not sell...but if it does I will have done pretty well on it. More of an exercise of a thought process than anything else. I always remind myself that no matter how 'rare' or how much 'cool factor' a car has......it's still just a car. Keep my feet planted and my head out of the clouds and I 'should' be ok. Besides, there are always more cool things to get. The 356 B T6 on the other hand.......please sell! Tony
Jason, You and your wife are always welcome on my boat. We'll have to find a nice weekend when it gets warmer and get a group to drive down to clear lake and take the boat out.
Having now seen Tareks boat I can say that it is truly magnificent (even better looking than in the photos) and the best Ive ever seen
that would be absolutley amazing! i think we would all have a great time.. just keep me posted this summer
