    I always thought they were smoking something, wanting to go into F1. If a company like Honda or Toyota can't make it.... I would be damn near impossible for prodrive.

    Same reason Porsche has stayed away ... it's an financial black hole not for the faint of heart. Some manufacturers simply cannot justify the expenses or choose to utilize their resources elsewhere.

    Interesting that today, Ross Brawn, and a couple of the Senior Guys at Ferrari were concerned that F1 is becoming too much of a Spec series.

    I can see the point. Mandated engine lay out, common ecu's, common tires, rpm limitations. Looks like it's heading that way.
