My wiki has a different scenario!

Duck tape is NOT a mispronounciation of duct tape. Duck tape is the original name of the tape from when it was first invented and used by the military. Only, when people started using duck tape to repair ducts, it got the name duct tape. :D

You are 110% correct...this hasn't been done and will not be done. It's none of my business.

    Like Bill I'm further confused:

"6) I [You] will be advising MERCEDES of these details along with the VIN# of the vehicle and all my documentation to support this claim."

    This is not/no longer true?

Look down at #6. It's "duct"....

    "Duck Tape"

Common mispronunciation of Duct Tape. The duck pictured on the label apparently contributes to the confusion over the name.

    "Duck tape can fix anything!"
"Except your inability to pronounce the 't' at the end of 'duct.'"

I'm not sure what this chick has to do with "duct" tape. But she was on the page I looked up. She seems nice...

A slipped belt means nothing, the modded-Ford GT owners go through it regularly. Hilarious that Roy got so excited with this "inside" info that he peed his pants a bit and vomited up incorrect information all over F-chat for others to quickly shoot down. Worse, all this will do is likely escalate the vitriol that Allan already has for him, and every single car Roy lists on his website will be analyzed, researched, and put under the magnifying glass in a very public way.

Even Eric and Mark wisely chose not to throw stones without knowing the facts, and they'd be the first to enjoy some Allan/Alex misfortune...

No. :) I just thought a discussion about DUCT tape was more interesting than another Allan Vs. Roy thread, so I was willing to discuss.

Did you see the picture of the chick in the blue shirt? How about them apples? :)

I'm glad to hear that if in fact it does need to have work done. Posts like this are the ones that help gain credibility back into the business of selling cars which not an easy business to be in especially when your dealing with high end cars.

Good point. I was told awhile back that his belt fell off and thought it was a normal occurance. Honestly speaking, no matter what Allan says about Eric and me, it doesn't matter anymore. There's more important things in life then being bothered by someone who says things about you. Good luck to Allan and I'm sure SP will have it back on the road in no time.

Mother of God - this is like watching my young children....

Ok boys - time to kiss and make up. Lets put this **** behind us and talk about cars... (and not each other). It is somewhat entertaining for about 30 seconds and then one starts to wonder what is the point of all this?

I've got the Kleemann pulley, throttle body, ECU, headers, test pipe/cat delete on my G55 and the thing is rock solid; I've put about 4000 miles on it since having the work done and I beat it up pretty hard just like the Gallardo. I'm pretty pleased with the work and Kleemann, the thing sounds like a beast.
