No. The blue car is the famous second Walter Wolf car with VIN 1120202.

Exactly. I was just wondering BiTurbo. Because the link you show has an LP400 and the Hock car is not :)

This is not correct. Please take an exact look at the photo of 1120022: This - black - car is a LP400. It has the periscope roof, and, by the way, 1120022 is a VIN of the LP400. The blue car - 1120202 - also has the periscope roof and a VIN of the LP400.

Sorry to add such confusion to this great thread. It was not my intention :) This link shows a car that i thought was different than the car at the Hockenheim track. Biturbo says its the same car and just repainted so I simply found it strange. They loook soo different. :)

    My appologies.

Do you have more LP400 photos from France? There once existed a light blue LP400 in Southern France which - in 1989 - was brought to France by the French dealer GTC. That car was repainted in yellow in 1990. It is my LP400.

I found those ads in various French magazines from 1990.
The blue #1120082, later repainted yellow. Jean Guikas (GTC) is still in Marseille.
You're lucky to have this car in your garage!
The other car on jack stands was in 1990 in Max Bobnar's shop in Switzerland.

Correct. Not a Wolf car. Also, guys, the black LP400S with bravo wheels is now back to LP400 guise and today is the silver LP400 with tan interior last known in Sweden. The same car...

    Giotto,

Many, many thanks for these photos of 1120082. I bought that car from GTC/Jean Guikas in January, 1999, and I am still very lucky to own it - in spite of my epic restoration, Joe :)

The fender flares of 1120022 were retrofit parts to fit standard LP400 wheel arches. On the other hand, those of 1120202 were made to suit 205/50R15 tires + 8.5Jx15 rims. As you see in the photos, the height is different.

Now I see it. I only looked at the fender flares and thought that there might be a different shape, but I was not sure because the two cars are photographed from different angles. But, when looking at the height mentioned by you, the difference is evident. Excellent, posteriore140!

Anyone know if the wheel arches on the real Wolf cars were aluminum or fibreglass?

OK, OK. I have looked into the wheelarches of 1120202. They were made of aluminum.

By the way, I cannot see the photos in your post #496. Could you repost?

I heard that that car was involved in an accident, i think it is in some boxes at Ginos Ross AB.
