    I really can't think of a question. Ok, why does the owners manual for my 82 400i not match the car the car that I have?

    Probably not that uncommon a situation for these cars. The original got separated from the car at some point in the past 26 years and someone replaced it with another one.

    I don't know who owns 39155 but I do know that it is a 1982 Red/Tan automatic that was advertised for sale by Fantasy Junction in May, 1999. At that time, it was listed with an asking price of $25.5K and was showing 37,000 miles. Just curious, what s/n is yours?

    Mine is 39577 an '82 blk/tan automatic.
    For whoever cares 39155 was sold through Garage Francorchamps in Bruxelles. I suspect imported by Joe Marchetti as was mine.
