Reaction time at 110+ after 5 hours of driving wasn't there...maybe if I were doing the 70 MPH limit I would have allowed it to pass before me. Little bunny foo foo got bopped.
Car is for sale- 86 3.2 Mondial- Gregio metallico/tan 70,000 miles cabriolet.

Luckily the rabbit didn't take out the fog light. That would have been an expensive bunny.

    That was f@#kin funny.
A similar thing happened to me with my 911 euro sport at an air show taking people for rides up and down the strip I hit a (a very fast) bird (not fast enough) at about 150 mph, all I saw were feathers (poof) and he disintegrated although his head and part of his body was stuck in my stabilizer just dangling there eeeeeeuuuuuooooo.

I also had a similar thing happen with a Olds Aurora back in the late 90's. It was a horrible experience since I am a huge animal lover. I was headed down a back road out to the body shop I use to be a part owner of. A dog ran out in front of my car and I hit it. It was wound up in the front axel and when I got out of the car it's head was sticking out looking at me. He was still alive. The owner came out of the house and said it was the second time the dog had been hit in the last year. The dog belonged to her 8 year old son. The dog died with in a few minutes. The owner removed the body from my car. She was sitting on the ground next to the dog and looked up at me and said, I will pay for the damage to your car. She looked down at the ground and said I don't know what I am going to say to my son. His father died this morning and I haven't told him that yet either. I was unable to hold it together at that point.

Like a deer being shot with a nice Sauer rifle, it must have been an honor for bunny to die that way.

We average about 165 moose/vehicle collisions a year in Anchorage. I would much rather hit a rabbit.

From my experience watching CSI, and the splatter patern, it appears as though the car continued to drive for some time after the hit.

    Those Beemers are tough.

I don't think you will get it all cleaned out at the local pressure wash.
