    Yes ,I think also it will be very difficult to find a spare hand brake,but if I don't find I will took and old hand brake.
    Bryan,can you confirm me it was built a total = 30 750 monza and 500 mondial (or more ?) and also only 5 or 6 118-121LM ?
    Where are located the 118-121 LM ?? where could I look at them ?
    I am stopped in my step !!
    Guy
    PS: As for the trumpets I w'll prefer old trumpets but...

    In 2006 one 121 LM (see picture) and two 750 Monza's participated in Le Mans Classic. So it might interest you to come this year's edition from 11-13 July 2008.

    Best regards

    No I have nothing to do with the organisation :( ;). But I'll definitly be there, just like in 2004 and 2006.

    I'm sure you can enter your car through the Club Ferrari France.

    Best regards

    Boudewijn,I have two other pics of 0117S for you at the Stella Alpina race in 1951.

    Bryanp Quote:
    Guy - I think it will be very difficult to find a spare hand brake assembly from on of the 4-cylinder cars; or a competition v-12 for that matter. But I will keep my eyes and ears open.
    As for the carburetor trumpets/velocity stacks, since you have a 3-carb v-12 motor, it should not be too difficult to find those; they are much different from the four large stacks found on a 4-cylinder's side-draft Webers.

    Bryan, I have placed an original 250 GTE (2+2) hand brake parking,thank you very much for your help but the mechanism was on the rear wheels not in the front wheels.
    I want now to put a cover on the passenger seat,if you have any picture to show me, it will be marvellous.

    Great pictures. Have any more? Can you account for the two different race numbers [254/258]? No question 258 is somewhere in the high Alps. tongascrew

    NO, in the first picture; 0117S is in second place behind the race number 254,who was a Ferrari 166 driven by Augusto Caraceni .

    Guy,
    would there be room for air cleaners under the hood? If it were mine and there were room I would run them in the interest of engine longivity.

    I have enjoyed reading of your progress in making the car a good reliable driver.

    Best wishes.

    Tom ,thank you for wishes;
    Yes, there is sufficiently room for air cleaners under the hood,the car "breathe" better and the sound also is different.
    The next date is in september-october : to create the cover-passenger in alloy (aluminium) and also rectification of the Exhaust.

    FWIW, I don't think so. My guess would be 0066M.

    Kare:
    Disagree. NOT 0066 M. Race no. 254 at the September 1951 Stella Alpina was Augusto Caraceni of Rome, car had plates "Roma 147588" and it was 0088 E, a 2560 cc engined Ferrari. I have the ACI PRA dox which confirm both S/N and engine capacity as well as Caraceni's name. See also page 35 of "Auto Italiana" magazine, issue #17 dated 15th September 1951, which has another photo of #254. Both the text and the results list Caraceni and mention the engine size 2560 cc. Caraceni got 0088 E on the 30th April 1951, just a few days before the Stella Alpina.

    Makes sense. I wonder why it was later modified so heavily. Looked really good as a new car. Best wishes, Kare

    Marcel, you known tremendously thinks,it will be marvellous if you agree to teach me some information about 0117S,it will be fantastic also if you agree to take contact with mr Mac Govern (California) to make him a proposal about the 0117S engine that he own and reunite if possible frame-chassis and engine: IT WILL BE GREAT IF YOU AGREE TO HELP ME , but I take not offence if you decline this.
    All I known about my car is on the web site : concept cars.com

    No odometer so this is next best basis;
    Let's see, on this clutch starting in about 1961, Bayonne, NJ through Manhattan to Lime Rock, track time, and return; Bayonne to Vineland, NJ, track time, race, return; Bayonne through Manhattan to Lime Rock, track time, race, and return; Bayonne NJ through Manhattan & Long Island Expressway to Bridgehampton and track time and return. In and about Staten Island and Bayonne. Bayonne to Boston. In and about Boston and Cambridge, Boston to Loudon, NH, track time and return. In 2008, country roads in Edinburg, VA and the Pebble Tour Torture test. Not bad for lining material that is now 48 years old. The Tour really did it in - hell, we could have driven across the country a couple more times but for the Tour!

    kidding
