I have some friends who have M-cars who are interested in coming along...is there any "quotas" or is it for any gear heads who are interested in pushing their cars to the limit (not on the 202).
Your friends are welcome! Be sure they bring a helmet and some closed toe shoes. Also, If anyone is new to track days I would suggest an instructor. I may be preaching to the choir here but I don't think anyone wants to drive their $100k+ car on the track with someone who has no idea what an apex is.
You will need to bring your own car. The cost will be determined by the number of participants. Last time the track fee was $3,300 we simply divided that by the number of drivers, I expect 10-15 at this event. I'll find out if the fee will stay the same and post back.
ndnboi4u2nv, I should have mentioned that the Van Horssen group will be there. You might consider talking with them about driving some of their cars. http://www.vanhorssengroup.com/
Here are the details from VHG.... Oops, 1.74mb is too big for the site. Anyone have the ability to post larger files?
Confirmed cars; SPF GT-40 930 slant White Ford GT STI SPF Daytona coupe 997S 997 Turbo (VHG) 997 GT3 (VHG) Tungston Ford GT (VHG) Tentative; Lotus Elise Gulf livery Ford GT Challenge Stradale (are you coming Ron?) You are welcome to bring as many cars as you like, you will only be charged for one spot. Also, If you would like to bring a friend or a spouse to ride and/or drive thats just fine as long as one person is driving at a time.
VHG has moved the date. BUT, I have a message in to Scott @ VHG to see if the track is still available. I think we can put at least 10 drivers together and still run at a decent cost on the 10th.
