Hi everyone. I'm not sure that this is the proper area to post this in ( moderator please relocate if not) I just wanted to appeal to the most people out there.
I'm building a proper wheelbase 288 clone & am seeking rear fenders. I know Italian Design & Racing has the ability to do a rt. side only which doesn't help me with the other side.
Jim Carpenter has told me he has both sides from a repaired car that he is attempting to have molds made from but I'm unsure at present if that will come to pass.
If anyone has any helpful contacts, ideas or suggestions please chyme in.

Just put in a call to Norwood Autocraft & waiting for a call back from Bob.....sounds promising.

Good idea. I know Bob has done several, it has been a while though. My guess is, he'l have them. Best of luck, and keep us posted.

Yes, Bob called back & they have everything. Apparently they still make the GTO & P4 replicas. He said they had 4 cars going now & he owns a proper wheelbase 288 clone himself.
I asked if the rear fenders were accurate & he said yes he recently sent a pr. to Germany to repair a damaged 288.
The website said they have "scratch motor" 302 cu. in. V-12's for the replicas.
Anyway he said he would have the guy who makes & sells their body parts contact me so I can deal directly with him.

    Quick question:

Do these 'proper' wheelbase cars include the longitudinal engine configuration too, or do they just move the drivetrain back a few inches?

You would have to discuss your needs with him. He is very capable of doing anything you want. I suppose it comes down to budget limitations.

Hi Goth. I believe the answer to your question is yes. I've seen both a Norwood 288 clone and a Norwood P3 clone. He can do it all, but last time I asked the question, he'd kind of backed away from these projects as he had'nt had many orders. They can be very expensive, as you might imagine. I believe James still has a 288 GTO clone in the shop, with carbon fiber body, and a longitudinal custom 12, twin turbo'd. He has been slowly completing it, in some "spare time". It belongs to a customer.
