F-40? Day no good. Day got turbins and are not natrewly asphyxiated. The injuns no good eyether. When you take em to the dealers they fitta de poor quality gaskets to em and then road test em and nuffing werks right. Joe Sackey is gonna sort owt a fuqwit dealer this week or anytime soon after.

    With kind regards,

Of course, I'd normally respond with a smartass statement like, "I think this post is easier to read than your normal ones", but because you're such a value add to this board, I won't... ;-)

    Dear Comrade TimF40,

Unfortunately, when I wrote the post I had neither the dictionary or thesaurus close by :)

However, and in sincere appreciation of your kind comments I have placed a thread within the USA F-40 thread :)

It's been raining stair-rods the whole day long in England. However, we shall soon kindle the hall hearth and all will be well; with the winter mixture of oak, ash, beech, chestnut and holly all set to make a forge-like oblation to Vulcan, god of fire; the eternal custodian of the fire breathing thaumaturgical behemothic road burning tyre shredding voice of indomitable acharnement :)

    With kind regards,

    512 Tea Are

    Don't kiss and tell ;)

That sadly reminded me of the rapper "50 Cent".

What is our music world coming to? I'll stick with country music!

    Back on topic:

My thoughts of the F40 is that it is simply the most wonderful, awesome, fascinating, incredible, marvelous, shocking, stunning, surprising, unbelievable and wonderful car ever made. It's got the astonishing looks, the turbo charged V8 engine that will beat close to all cars built today, and follow closely behind others. Not to mention that it was Enzo's last baby.

Whether they be $600,000 or $10,000,000, it'll always be worth it in my mind. The greatest piece of engineering ever designed.

    Andy

<How does one stand next to a mountain? ...let alone chop it down with the edge of one's hand?>

Isn't that "...chop it down with the axe in my hand"...?

The answer to the question, BTW, is "two drops of acid". :)

Love that song - a bit like a 275GTB Nart Spider. Still as awesome today as it was then.
