Does anyone know of a place that installs Madico or Llumar brand of window tints for autos? Or recommend another good, not so expensive brand?

I was going to get F1 Pinnacle, but I'm not paying $400-$500 for tint. That's beyond outrageous, imo. I just can't/will not fathem spending a half-grand on tint.

    Thanks.

    It's in Garland, but here's a place:

Just googled. You can make a weekend trip out of it. I think there's also a number like 800GetTint to order yourself if you want a local installer to put it on.

This may sound nuts, but did you call any dealers? I had my wife's Acura TL serviced a couple months ago and asked them to tint the windows while they were at it, I think they only charged me $250 or so and they did a great job.

Call Hockley Auto Glass at 713-722-0750 & ask them who they recommend.

Tell the owner Will from Memorial Auto Paint & Body Shop referred you.

Thanks. I googled, and couldn't come up with anything. And I'm the Google King. ha!

I passed on the dealer because I figured they wouldn't let me get anything below 35%. And I originally had planned to get ceramic, because of all the hearsay about it interfering comfort access and reception. Lately I've been reading some people who have metallic tint haven't had any issues. So I figured I'd take a chance.

Thanks. My friend actually lives out in Hockley and I'm over there fairly often. So I may stop by next time I'm out there.

I just remembered my roommate has gotten his last few cars done from an individual who comes to your house/work. I'll probably give him a call and see what he has to offer.

    Thanks again guys.

Why wouldn't they let you go for anything lower than 35?? You can have 25 in Texas.

I had Madico installed from Xtreme in Spring, he has tinted all my cars for the past 16 years....Its a bit of a drive for you but he does do top notch work that you will be satisfied with.

Awesome, I'll check it out as well. Thanks for another option. Spring isn't that far for me really. Hop on 45 and be there in about 25-30 minutes depending on traffic.

Actually I just looked it up, and it's smack dab in the middle of 249 and 45 on Louetta. That's the correct one, I believe?

LOL, I didn't even specify a % much less a material when I had mine done. Shows how much I know. :)

I'm normally haven't been in the past. But on this car I want the darkness to be just right. I'd like to get 25% but none of the good brands make any, they're all around it. So I want to get as close as possible.

That's what I'll probably end up with. Or close to it.

I had that on my wife's old Srt-4. I'm getting here MazdaSpeed6 done with 25. I'm tempted to go to 20.
