Does this picture bother anyone else?

I was in an small Italian restaurant in Oakland, CA (Rockridge area) and they had our beloved Cavallino on a plate on the wall. I know this is a lousy picture, but our poor Ferrari logo is on the yellow dish with a red and green stripe around the perimeter of the plate - and they hung it horizontal instead of rearing up. I desperately wanted to speak to the manager and go fix it, but my wife quashed that idea.

Thoughts? Should I have pointed it out, or not?!

Only correct them AFTER you are served your food.

Maybe the owner just likes horses, rather than cars.

I would have said something. After my food was served anyway, and in a nice way.

They probably think it's a Mustang....lol.

 

Looking at the rest of the decor .... I'd start looking for another restaurant !!

 

I would have said "Can I buy the yellow Unicorn plate for $2.00? I think I know an artist that can paint the missing horn back on."

 

Yes that pic bothers me...whoa, it makes me dizzy.

I would have said something in a polite manner...and if they took offense to it I would have left.

I probably woyld have used it as a conversation starter.

"Glad to see you have a logo of my favorite car on the wall...the only time I have seen it at that angle is when it's on a hub cap. Very creative." LOL

Fcar owners have to be very careful not to appear overbearing or offensive. Better to make a friend with a compliment rather than an enemy with a critical comment IMVHO.

 

Since it's in the Italian restaurant, see they did that in purpose and that's how they sell their Italian Wine,
the more you drink their wine the straighter the prancing horse get

 

if they hung the plate better it would look correct. swivel it around!
