Selling my 350D (Rebel XT)

Hey guys, I'll be selling my 350D here pretty soon. I know people on here often say they want to get an intro-level DSLR, so I thought I'd give you guys first shot before I put it on eBay.

Let me know if there is any interest. My 40D should get here monday.

No, just canon.

40D, not D40. I wish Nikon would have come up with a different naming scheme. Hah.

I could have sworn I saw you post about a few Nikon lenses, must have been someone else.

 

It may have been me. I've used a friend's D200 + 18-200VR, and I thought it was fabulous.

If I had the money to throw around, I'd own both Nikon and Canon cameras. Maybe someday.

 

there is a Canon XTX "450D" possibly coming out on the 24th, just to let you know. If your going to sell your camera you better sell it now because IF it comes out the price will drop.

It should have 12MP a 3" LCD screen with live view, also i hurd canon might be putting out a new series, with movie mode in the SLR... but i don't want that to happen, only if the quality of the pix stay the same.

 

Yah. 12MP is a rumor, I don't know if they'd go that high with an entry level camera until the successor to the 5D is at least announced. Then again, their bread-and-butter is probably the consumer line, so maybe.

Movie mode shouldn't hurt the image quality. I can't imagine it would do wonders for the mirror motor, though, having to hold it up for extended periods of time. Same thing goes for live view, which is why I won't be using it on my 40D unless I take it underwater.

 

how much are you asking and what does it include? im thinking of getting the xti but would consider the xt if the price is right.
