    Hi,

on the website www.eurospares.co.uk I found an interesting thing.

It concerns F355 cars with 5.2 ECU:

Part No. 170019 complete LH air chamber 928 GBP
Part No. 167479 complete LH air chamber 493 GBP

You can order these different air chambers for different countries. The big difference in the prices may be
shows that there is a different design inside (the funnels are inside)!
A different design may be could declare why the late 5.2 cars (1998-2000) have a better performance than
    the earlier 5.2 cars.

Can anybody send photos from opened air chambers/boxes ?

Who can clear up the price difference ?

    Many thank

    Andi

I think I saw them on the beach at Cancun trying to woo Jessica Simpson away from Tony Romo - and at a Vegas party, sandwiched between Brittany and Paris, but I could be wrong...

I have not heard of a performance difference between a 1996-1997 versus a 1998-1999. How significant is this?

Here you go Andi, inside of a '99 intake plenum. I couldn't find any part numbers on there, but I see nothing that would help performance.

I thought he was referring to the actual air boxes that sit towards the front of the motor.
